What If It’s Not a Dead End but a Detour?
The hardest thing you’re facing might not be the end of your story. It might be the beginning of something new.
Pain has a way of shrinking our vision. Struggles make us believe that what we’re facing is final. But perspective has the power to shift everything—not because our circumstances always change, but because our lens does.
The lie we often believe:
“This is it. This struggle means I’ve reached the end.”
Romans 12:2 offers us a different view.
“Be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”
Renewing your mind doesn’t mean pretending things are easy. It means seeing challenges through a lens of faith, resilience, and possibility.
Next time you’re overwhelmed, ask:
What might God be teaching me through this?
Is there a way through this that I haven’t seen yet?
What if this isn’t punishment, but preparation?
Even pain has purpose when you invite God into it.
Today’s Soulwork:
Write down one struggle you’re facing. Ask, “What else might this mean?” Then pray for fresh eyes to see it through God’s grace.
You don’t need a way out. You need a way forward. And God always makes a way.
Lifting you in prayer,
Che
